So what's the deal with java updates taking up several hundred meg? I've seen computers with 5 different versions of java installed, each taking up a crapload of space. Shouldn't you be uninstalling old version before installing new ones?

@algorithm0 - Have to agree. They seem to be getting bigger with each reease. I think Udate2 has got 120Mb installed as an upgrade over Update1.
Why are they so big???
I mean, 1.4.2 was 80Mb and that seemed excessive.
