Windows 98 SE and GeForce 6600

I have dual boot Win98SE/XP. Recently I bought Club3D Ge Force 6600 AGP. But when I try to play NBA Inside Drive 2000 in Win98 in Direct3D mode, game freezes wit messy picture. Thats what happens with newest drivers 71.84. I also tried with oldest driver available for this graphic card 66.94 and I can play game in Direct 3D mode but cooler on graphic card is not working at all.

Can anyone help?

i suspect that's your main problem, the card is overheating.
send it back, it's faulty (probably)

Did you try the card on XP? Does that work, just to point out the problem miko said.

it's a faulty card,send it back for a complete replacement.
