vakhal Posted May 10, 2005 Share Posted May 10, 2005 i'm new to this site and making an unnatended install, so i may have missed somethiing here....BUThow do you extract the drivers from a cd...i'm trying to get one for my sound card. when i look in the cd under audio ,there are four folder ,and 19 files4 are applications2 are data cab filesa couple of setup applications there is 1 saying setup.issit's all very confusing....do i copy all files and folders to my \install\drivers\000_soundor do i serch for all .inf files and copy them into my \install\drivers\000_soundor do i install my audio and then serch in the windows\system32 file and copy allthe .inf sound files to my \install\drivers\000_soundif any one has any ideas i would be very grateful...thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted May 10, 2005 Share Posted May 10, 2005 You've got an InstallShield setup there (I can see that by the fact you have 2 data.cab files).Use the command line utility i6comp to extract them.
