Hi people, first i dunno if this topic is in the rite forum, i couldnt decide where to put it... anyway...

Ive got at the moment a Nvidia Gforce 2 64mb which i like alot, its been a wikid card, BUT...

Ive got a Radeon 7200 64mb card waiting in the shop for me, which ive paid 40quid for (uk) but i didnt have the whole 40quid so ive paid 20 & should pick it up just after Xmas.

so basically i just want to see what some people think of these 2 cards & if you think im wasting my time buying it.

do you have one of these cards?? id just like to know what people think, thx dudes

I think they're about the same... You're wasting your time. I had a radeon 7500 64 mb and it got fried. Return the radeon, pawn the geforce 2 and get something with the combined amount.

I had the same change, from Geforce 2 64MB to a ATi Radeon 7000 64MB DDR, I would go with the radeon, I noticed a way higher fps on most games and with the DDR memory it also loads faster, graphics are also better. Also if you connect it to tv sometimes you'll notice that radeon has more options with it and it will look better.. Good luck

Thx for your views dudes im sure ill be ok, i got a p3 800 here aswell with only a 32mb card so my Gforce will go in that coz id like to try the radeon, coz ive heard good things, but ive heard bad things aswell, but that goes with near enuff anything really thx people.

no chance of u getting a radeon 8500/9100 ?
because i dont think you will see as much difference as you would like if u bought the 7200
