I was just woundering whats under everyones hood......Just jumping off XP topic. These are my specs:

PIII 1g overclocked at 1155
Asus cusl2-c Volt 3.6
512 Mushkin rev 2 High performance (Bios settings: 222 5,7 strong)
Elsa Geforce 2 ultra 64 Overclocked

nice sounding pc chris!

i got the same mouse though lol, and win98Se?? bah.... went in the bin :)
(dual boot win2k pro and winXP 2526 - shortly going to be final)
when xp is done, i think ill wipe 2k off... i dont use it no more, its ugly!

Your not using the latest version of xp (hint hint:cool: )? Well for some reason 98se is like that bad habit, you try to kick it but you find a reason to keep it.

2k is all over the place! hmm.. i think les bel has it on his server, ive seen it all over edonkey too. im downloading the final, its just that on 56k it takes ages matey! i have 50% so it should be done by sunday night / monday morning.
there is no excuse for keeping 98.. i think that because you have the space it dosent matter! my HDD is only 15gb, but im upgrading it soon. have to get cable first...

Quit bragging Chris!!! LOL...cool machine you got there...must be nice...I am moving along at 700mHz on a Duron chip that I have no idea how to clock (dont' think you can without altering the chip) and about 256MB memory that didn't make a bit of difference in my system until XP. ME didn't seem to know how to handle it...XP can't get enough! Running on cable modem...sorry for those that don't have it yet...it makes a 200 mHz look like a monster!

My computer is little more than a PIII 750 pocket calculator with a 28GB drive, a cable modem and a nice big plasma screen. I wish I could be bothered to go out and replace the grafix card.
