there isn't any topics for programming so i posted here...

anyone know of a good C++ compiler based in windows enviroment?

Yes! ... I use (or try to) the IDE called Dev-C++, which is using the mingw compiler. Its very userfrindly (n00bfriendly), but dunno if thats a factor.

thanx crispy.. i bought SAMS Teach Yourself C++ in 24hours :rolleyes: hopefully it will :) :D
