I have heard one or two people mention using something to detect changes in the registry to find which entries need to be added/edited to apply certain settings.

I am at the last tidying up of my unattended CD but there are some things I just can't quite nail. I have tried searching to find out what tool people are using to detect registry changes with no luck. I'm guessing it envolves exporting the entire registry, then making the changes then exporting it again and comparing the 2 files.

Can anyone tell me how/what to use to detect these changes and finish my last reg file?

Hey :hello:

You can use regshot for this.

You can download it here

EDIT:

With this program you make two snapshots of the registry. And the program will tell you the difference

erik_demon is right, use RegShot, just keep in mind that when it shows you which keys have been modified, it shows you both the old value and the new one (it can be confusing the first time, at least it confused me). :)
