What I am trying to do is remove some icons from my context menu. All I want to see is text.

This illustration better defines it:

I want to keep the option to add to archive, but I don't want to see that icon. :}

There should be a Shell Extension DLL file (such as rarext.dll in your WinRAR programs directory) that you can ResHack. Delete the context menu icon from the file.

Hi all

Easy way would have been to untick the context menu item in setup when you installed it

That would have removed the context menu altogether, which is something he didn't want.

Even after the install (in Winrar that is) there is the option to disable the icons:
options --> settings --> integration --> (un)check the box icons in context menu

Zxian, this only disabled the icons. :)

But okay.. you've solved the problem already ! Good for you.

What about the other way round?
I'd like to add an icon to one context menu item, it's the well known CMD Here command.
I tried adding a subkey DefaultIcon with the default value targeting to the cmd.exe file but no effect.
Any ideas?
