What do you want to buy next? Are you tired of Viruses and Spywares? Want you move to AMD 64 and use NX? Or do you want to go for an Apple?

I for myself want to have a Powerbook for daily usage and a AMD 64 Desktop for gaming and experimental work.

my next pc will be mainly just an upgrade of components.
maybe a new cpu+mobo and a graphic card; if this was the case i would go for the latest amd64.

AMD 64 Desktop would certainly be one of the best choice. :D

I've got a Centrino Laptop that will do me well for work purposes for the next few years.

My desktop is an old Athlon T-bird though... I'm probably gonna buy an Athlon64 as a main replacement and make the old comp a proper server.

For me, i don't need Floppies on my desktop, but on my notebook it's very important, bacause I get some work on floppies, but I try to replace that with USB-Sticks.

I'm gonna wait until the new Intel Yonnah chip (when they release it) makes the jump from notebook to desktop

Why would you want this chip in a desktop? It's gonna be designed for mobile use with the next generation Centrino laptops. Dual-core and shared caches, all while only using ~25W = massive portable power.

Probly gonna build a new pc when the Dual core Intels come out.
Probly keep most all my previous hardware but that and a new 6800Gt.

Not too sure yet...still waiting on the new intel deal stats to come out from work

New GFX Card? I would wait, Nvidia and ATI made their promises at the Computex. Perhaps in July we have new series and you 6800GT is way cheaper.

Now, I own a good ol' AMD Barton 2500+, 512MB RAM and "the piece de la resistance": ATi Radeon 7500 64MB SDRAM. For the moment it's enough for me. I'm waiting for the 64bit software to pop-up real good and then I'm gonna buy an AMD64 desktop.
