Tel
I am loading a few machines at a time, each has to do their own windows update. But this is a lengthy procedure and takes up network bandwidth connecting to the Windows Update site the whole time.Is there a way that I can download the updates to a folder and manually install them on these machines? tarquel
Is there a way that I can download the updates to a folder and manually install them on these machines?- If you have a server running on your network, as a alternative, you could try:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=enOr the new WSUS:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversyst...loads/WSUS.mspx(Register on the right-hand side and take it from there)- No server then you could download the hotfixes and create a script to install each one silently without restarting.Bit fiddly but its how I do win98 hotfixes @ work and it works well.
