Ok, I'm not sure what's changed since I last burned my unattended DVD, but for some reason every time I try to boot it, I get a code 5 failure now. I haven't changed a single thing in the C:\XPCD directory, and I'm burning it with Nero like I always have.

I'm not even sure what other info to give here to help anyone help me, or I'd gladly post it. It's just a straight up XP SP1 CD that's always worked before and won't now.

I read somewhere that it's a BIOS problem, but I've done it on both my machines before with no problems at all. Also read it could be bad media, but tried it on 3 seperate DVDs. Any thoughts at all are appreciated!

Did you use the correct settings for the CD/DVD to be bootable, as specified here?

Sure did. Exactly like I used to do it. This is even the exact same file tree, but just not working now. :(
