hi, it's really hard process!!!

first explain more. only thing u want to do is linking two LAN via VPN? if that is, u need first a fast line between them, cuz the game require a fast link with large bandwith, 2ed u need to setup Microsoft RRAS and config it with one interface in both end and then connect them to each other.
go to MS website for VPN reference in Windows Server 2003 MSDN.
if u face any error tell me.

Hi

I tiried to play games with my friend using VPN it was very slow and unstable, and when we used skype to talk to each other it would just drop out

Do a google fo "BATTLELAN" its only 107kb it worked every time even using Skype

SDSL is not bad for business works but the game make a huge data to transfer; maybe it work but as i never test it, u try it maybe it give u enough speed but i don't think so. u need Satellite link for this or dedicated line.

and about the things u should do, fo to:

this is the technical reference for connecting two VPN endpoint in RRAS but i suggest to use just RRAS link without VPN. as u know the VPN is a secure link that usually used for connections that require security not for 2 GameNet!!!

but try it. how is the distance between 2 point?
