Matt04 Posted June 20, 2005 Share Posted June 20, 2005 I really need help, excuse my ignorance but i have no idea to install XP... i currently have Windows ME and i have the CD for Windows XP Pro but i have no idea about installing it. I hope to burn everythign to tdisc then start of fresh... i have a Intel Pentium 3, nto sure abotu the other specs.Please (in detail if you can) explain how i install XP over ME... starting fresh.Thank you.-Matt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
boooggy Posted June 20, 2005 Share Posted June 20, 2005 well u start the pc. wait till everything is loaded and then put the cd with xp into your cd drive. dont forget to have the serial somewhere cause it will ask for it. then if the auto start begins u choose the option to install windows xp. that is it. of course u have to wait till it finishes.but i dont recomend this. it is nice to make a fresh install with formating. and of course after nlite the windows xp cd. details here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=28005 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
