How many partitions do you have?
If you have 2 (C & D) move everything that you want (music, movies, personal files) from C to D.
Then insert WinXP CD in the drive, reboot and let the PC to boot from WinXP CD. Click NEXT where required until you get to a screen where it shows your partitions. Select C and the option to format the partition using NTFS file system. And from then on just click on next -> next ->next.
