nate
Write speed of a single drive when not setup in a raid array is 37.8 MB/secondWrite speed to the drives when in a raid 5 array is 0.89 MB/second.Can anyone help on why the write speed is so slow. It is very noticeable. I'm constantly waiting on the hard drive light to go off before I am able to do anything.CPU:Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20GHz Motherboard: Model: P5ND2-SLI Manufacturer ASUSTeK Computer INC. ripken204
could be a crappy controller, the write speed should not even be half of normal
