This too annoys the crap out of me, apart from restarting lol

I found this on a site guys. Although, I don't know how to automate group policy stuff, here's how to disable the restart.
Hope it helps!
Regards,
Marthax
* In the Start Menu go to Run type “gpedit.msc” and press Enter * Now a Group Policy editor will open. In this window navigate to: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Template -> Windows Components -> Windows Update * Double click on No auto-restart for scheduled Automatic Updates installations * In the settings window Choose Enabled and click OK * Close Group Policy Editor
Hope it helps!
Regards,
Marthax

There are registry settings I am using for WSUS, maybe you should look if they are working for MU, also... They give you chance to set notification timeout...
- ← Users must enter a user name and password to use t
- Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
- reg.exe for windows 2000 →
