Hello computer experts,
one our customer wants to use IBM Software Distribution for distributing MS Office 2000 and all patches/fixes.
Problem is that customer use to migrate PC's to another LANs. If we distribute fixes for MS Office on those migrated PC's - office tries to download installation files from server on previous LAN, so through WAN.
How can we setup/change the installation path of Office 2000 - into new server???.
Thank you for any tips.

Run regedit and navigate to this key in the left pane:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\904000001E872D116BF00006799C897E\InstallProperties
(S-1-5-18 might be something else)
Now change the value for InstallSource in the right pane - that ought to do the trick.
