It looks like this is not clear for some people, so let me explain. From now on, divx.com provides only 2 packages. "DivX Create Bundle" and "DivX Play Bundle". Both of these packages include "DivX Pro 6 Months Trial"

There is no standalone DivX free Codec any more! If you just want the codec, you have to download one of the 2 above packages and diselect everything exept "DivX 6.0"

What we need now, is a way to remove that "DivX Pro 6 Months Trial" which is selected by deafult when installing with the /S switch.

Is there a way to do that?

Hi,

I installed the DiVX Play bundle (using /S switch) and registered it.

So, where is the DiVX Pro 6 registration info stored?

In a registry or in C:\WINDOWS\system32\dpl100.dll???

Regards
coucou

I tried the /S switch with Divx Create 6 and it didnt work. just to make sure I didnt enter it wrong, heres what I have:
REG ADD %KEY%\078 /VE /D "DivX Create 6" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\078 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\software\Divx\DivXCreate.exe /s" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\078 /V 2 /D "REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\software\Divx\regdivx.reg" /f

If its wrong can someone correct it for me please

Well it happens that "/s" it works for a normal install.

I tried it over de CMD (DOS) by typing:

"Divxcreate.exe/S"

that way it works but if you write
"Divxcreate.exe /S" or "Divxcreate.exe /s"
it wont, it has to be written together and the "S" goes with capital letter.
