Problem with windows 2000 professional Rate Topic: -----

the windows 2000 prof. clients can not connect the services of the linux server such as HTTP, ftp & SSH.
they asked for username and password with 'realm: device'
this is a new problem and i had'nt it since the last year

Does your web application NEED to authenticate anything?

This is happening because your Linux server is requesting credentials
