I’m looking for a way to close and re-open Outlook 2000 using a .vbs script (by close I mean remove from the active processes list)

The reason for this is because Outlook 2000 seems to become “constipated” when trying to send e-ails occasionally (they get clogged up in the Outbox) – I want a script that a user can run on their local machine to kill Outlook, and then restart it automatically.

Any idears?

that might not be a good idea.. if your user is working in outlook, the user will lose the data they are currently working in.

If emails are not sending there is probably a problem somewhere else.
