Hi,
I am running Office 2000 under Win2k SP4 and for local reasons Outlook is not used - all e-mail access is via Webmail.
However, over the last few days every 10/15 minutes a popup window appears. It reads:
Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the mail client.
The popup has a single button 'OK'. Clicking on that makes the popup disappear.
I suspect that some where I might have a piece of spyware/adware that is trying to send data from my machine and because Outlook is not the default mailer is firts complaining and then trying to 'persuade me'.
Have scanned my machine with Spyware Doctor and currently thast program indicates
that I have a clean machine.
Am totally confused and would welcome any and all help.
Many thanks
MAM
