I have the CD setup to automatically make my account and add it to the administrator group. This does work, as my account shows up under Administrators.

So I have a dock that I want to install, but there's no installer. No problem I thought. Looking over the $oem$ description on the unattended site, it seemed like this was the easy solution. So my folders look like this:

i386
$oem$
$oem$->$Docs->All Users->Start Menu->Programs->Startup->the shortcut to the dock executable
$oem$->$Progs->dock->dock files and folders

So, this seemed to work (the dock actually started up )until I closed the dock and it tried to write to the configuration file in the program files\dock folder. It gave me an error about not being able to write to it. So I look at the permissions and it says that Administrators have full control. I tried to edit the file manually and still wasn't allowed. I could, however, create a text file inside of the dock folder and edit it. Looking at the permissions of the new file, my personal Windows account was added to permissions and given full control.

I don't understand. Using these folders isn't very useful if the permissions aren't set in a useful manner. Has anyone else encountered this? It seems like I will have to make a batch file to copy these files after my account has been created. I'd rather not have to do that as it will just make things more complicated when I want to add things later.
