Nice cover, dencorso. Haven't heard Joan Jett in many, many years.

Ain't she great? I think she's way better nowadays than at the time of the Runaways... though she was plenty good then, already.

The Eagles - Hotel California
This one is not a cover, but maybe the definitive rendition of a great classic:

ELP - Jerusalem

Neither Blake nor Parry could possibly ever dream it might sound half as good as this in fact does!

Love ELP, and Jerusalem. But that version sounded pretty scratchy. This one sounded a little clearer to me.

Cheers and Regards

Indeed. The version you found sounds much better (it's the original studio version, IIRR). Great find, thanks!

And Michael Shrieve doing "Soul Sacrifice" 40 years after Woodstock, with his current band Spellbinder. The man can still play.

Cheers and Regards

I wish I lived in FUNKY TOWN, but since I don't, I just have to be content to listen to this song and that song 50 to 100 times a day.

I listen to Christian songs, or Kingdom melodies.

Try this for a respite:

Thanks, dencorso:

A great song I remember from a few years ago. (She did a great job of keeping her top almost on.)

So, I have 2 Funky Town songs and 1 Sabrina song to keep my brain paralyzed.

I'll just play them in the percentages of 53%, 42%, and 37% to add up to 100%.

(I think it's time for me to get a new calculator.)

Black (aka Colin Vearncombe) - Wonderful Life

The first line in the lyrics from "Wonderful Life" are evidently:
"Here I go out to sea again..."
And the images in the clip do stress it time after time.
Yet, it's amazing how every site offering those lyrics
always include the same error: "see" instead of "sea".
