Hi, I tried to install Win XP and was unsuccessful during the setup stage. I installed Me back onto the computer but I think Win XP setup is on another partition. Everytime I boot up my computer I go directly into XP setup error unless I press ESC and choose Me. How can I get rid of this? I tried deleting a bunch of files in windows that I don't think I've ever seen with ME before.
I don't want to reformat because it is a real pain. I have a Dell L800r and I don't have the drivers necessary on hand. Can somebody please help me out?

Did you install WinMe on the same partition as WinXP? or did you install it on a FAT32 File System?

I think one of those files is boot.ini. It is a text file. I think you must just change something in it as to boot on the ME partition by default. I don't know the exact syntax that must be used but if you google a bit you for dual booting 9x and XP you should find it quite easily.
