Well, I got Windows Vista Beta 1 and extracted the ISO, and am running setup from my hard drive. However, I get an error.

An error occured while creating Setup boot folder

Anyone know how to fix this, or am I doing something wrong? I don't have a DVD burner or I would burn this and do it that way.

Why did you extract the ISO? Just burn it on DVD or mount it with daemon tools. You should not mess with the ISO.

Dude, I don't have a DVD burner. I also don't know what you mean by mounting it, could you tell me?

Mounting it means using a program like Daemon Tools to make your ISO show up in My Computer as an extra CD/DVD-ROM drive.

Ah. Sort of like mounting a CD in Linux. It makes it so it's able to be used. Is Daemon Tools a free program?

Well, I used Daemon Tools to emulate it, but it still gives me that error. Odd...

did you mess with the ISO or did you use the orginal untouched ISO when using Daemon Tools to mount it?

Daemon Tools will do the job if the PC is up to date via the requirments and the ISO is a REAL untouched release from Micro$oft. (and make sure you have enough free space on your HD...)
