Hello to all

I did a search on internet on how to discover some installation switches.
but was not able find it.

I ám not searching for the swithes for one particular program but i like to discover the swithes for if i have same program and like to install it in silent mode.

can some one help me.
i think you will help many people.

You should START the installer/setup, but not finish/proceed it. You can derive the type of installer simply by looking at it in most cases.

Other possibilities: right-click it and look in its properties or extract it and see what kind of files you get (e.g. data1.cab, data2.cab, data1.hdr, etc identifies an InstallShield setup) or looking at its extension: some MSI installers have as file extension .msi.

I use CMenu (available on this forum), which just sits in your right click menu, and you just right click the installer, More Options\Installer Tools\Identify Installer. This will tell you what (and probably more than) what you need to know. I highly recommend it.
