I'd go for battlefield 2 for PC if you're looking for a good FPS. Hell, even BF1942 beats anything you'll find on a console, especially PS2.

That's like over £50 which is ridiculuos for a game. I read your post as mean <=$100 per game.

Surely they're like $40?

So to answer your question: GTA San Andreas of course, PC version can do better graphics but either platform is open to you!
