Installed vista been using it for a few days

this morning went to turn on the desktop (this is build 5112 btw)

right after the bios a cursor just starts blinking on the screen and it doesn't go beyond that

haven't installed anything that would interupt with the boot up this early on

any ideas as to why its gone tits up all of a sudden ?

anyone else had this where it just instantly after the bios just goes to a blinking cursor in the top left and then stays like that ?

doesn't seem like a HDD problem or the PC would have said can't boot from device via the bios ?

help would be greatly appreciated thanks !
