I put a 512 card in and it only shows 384 Mb of Ram is there anyway that i can fix that.

What type of RAM and mobo?

well it sound like ur mobo only supports 384mb of ram, u prolly have 3 slots but i dont see why ur mobo will allow a 512mb stick to work. let us know what the mobo is.

Do you have a mobo that has onboard grafix??
If so that could be where your missing 128mb has gone

no my computer supports up to 2 gigs of ram and theres only two slots

My mobo is a Foxconn 661FX7MF

yes my grafixs is onboard and it is set at 128mb so thats probably why i'll just buy a 1 gig card.

wow i didnt even think of that, mine does the same but i have alot of ram so it doesnt rly matter
