Install quits during Preparing Installation Screen Rate Topic: -----

Hi,

I''m trying to test out a custom build of WINPE to install Windows 2003 server.

I get as far as the unattended running, but once it gets to the "Preparing Installation" screen, it quits out and goes back to the command prompt.

I've tried running it manually without the unattended file. Same thing happens.

I'm using WINPE 2004 and VMWARE Workstation 5.0.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to change the installation media for server2003?

my UFD install of WinPE does this, remove your cd or ufd and then reboot, installation will continue.
