There are some very useful threads, which are liteally 10, 20, 30+ pages long, and grow by the week... for example, some of the stickys, which people add specific things to, like scripts, application installs/switches... etc...

Is it possible to search within such a thread for a specific keyword/script/app??

Some things I am looking for only appear to be found in threads that are very long, and I wondered if there is a more efficient way of finding out which particular pages the keyword can be found on, or do I have to check each one???

Cheers

I don't think you can search a thread, but on search page under "Result Type" you can choose "Show results as posts"

It seems that this essencial board feature is not working right.
If you enter a word, it will look in the forum instead of just the topic.
Or it is just me?

There isn't really an urgent need for this....
We'll be upgrading to 2.1 soon, so this bug might go away by itself.
