hi,
i've created a UA setup using the various useful resources in this forum and main unattended website. However I run into a problem when installing Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0. During the setup windows xp firewall launches and asks if it should allow the following application to connect to internet: "Microsoft ® Visual Studio VSA RPC Event creator". Does anyone run in to the same problem? is there some way to fix this?
thanks,
sanjay

You can disable Windows Firewall notifications and then reenable them after the installation.
There are command line commands that you can use to do this. You can also open ports.
Alternatively, disable it in your unattended.txt. Use the ref.chm file from the Microsoft Deployment Tools (deploy.cab) to figure out how to do this.
