i am going thru that hugh reg tweak file and found this:

it allows u to change the recycle bin icons thru a reg tweak, does this mean that you can change any icon as long as u know what icon # it is?

well i have this set a new icon for my c:\ drive , the icon is in $oem$\$$\

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\C\DefaultIcon]
@="C:\\Windows\\windisk.ico"

So i guess the same method should work for all icons if you can find the regsitry entry

well ill have to mess around with this, this could be an easy way for unatteneded icons

I went through a while back & have used this way to add the icons & info to my reg tweaks so they are auto replaced on install.. Also if u do it this way, then most things cannot over rite them.

sorry.. lol..

Well at least ive put what the icons are.. lol on my own ver they're just numbers.. the my computer is 0489012033.ico due to the amount of icons in my new xp dvd.. lol
