ceez
Hey there fellow MSFN'rs....!!!When I login to my PC the c:\windows\system32\ folder opens up. I have no idea how to stop this from happening. I've checked my RUN registry keys, msconfig, and startup folder for my profile and all users but do not find anything that will prompt this to open up.I've checked the windows settings under windowsexplorer options and IE options but nothing that relates to opening some sort of windows at logon.any ideas?thanks for the help!ceez

MN Freezer
well.... you can check your Folder settings.when the folder pops up, Click tools >>> folder options.you will get a folder options window. CLick the view tab, and scroll down to a setting that says "restore Previous window at Windows logon"IF thaat box is checked, uncheck it.then reboot, and see if htat works.dont forget to look at Sys.ini, and Win.ini. sometimes run commands get stuck in there.here is a very usefull freeware utility for checking startup folders.let me know if this helps.
