Can anyone help me on how to install IE6 SP1 /w the use of Selecting the option (like you get on an installation of a normal program, not microsoft)

Like I do want IE6, but don't want OE6 and Microsoft VM.

That's not possible AFAIK, because of Windows File Protection; Setup has to install IE6SP1 along with OE, as its hard-coded into NT operating systems.
There's also the Internet Explorer Administration Kit, allowing you to customize your setup options and distribute via web server/cd-rom/directory on HDD. I've not used it, but it might have the necessary options to let you choose what to install.

whats the problem with having OE and JVM?
btw if you don't want to use them you can simply turn to other programs as defaults. it is a nifty feature that M$ added in XP with SP1.
