Hi there,
I searching for a method to perform a silent install of endnote 8 and 9. I've got the msi packages and they install with the /passive switch, but I don't know, howto integrate the serial number.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Just install it one time through the installer entering your password
and then back up the "License.dat" file inside the installation Folder ("%ProgramFiles%\EndNote 8 or 9")
After you have your Licence file you can manually copy it to the installation folder or save it on the same folder as the installer and updates and execute this:

Example for EndNote X3

ENX3Inst.exe /passive /norestart
ENX3Inst.exe /update ENX301Patch.msp
XCOPY "Licence.dat" "%ProgramFiles%\EndNote X3" /R /H /Y
