MAKING BOOTABLE CD-RW Rate Topic: -----

well i m trying to make windows media center into single disk and i have almost done it but everytime i have to burn a new disk and if error are occurs the whole disk is unusable then

MY QUESTION IS WHEN I COMPILE MY MEDIA CENTER DISK IN ISO (OFCOURCE ITS BOOTABLE SUPORTED IMAGE AND IF I BURN ANY DISK WITH THIS ISO IMAGE IT WILL BE BOOTABLE)

NOW AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE WE CAN NOT BURN BOOTABLE ISO (IMAGE) TO
RE-WRITABLE CD

PLEASE NOTE YES I M TALKING ABOUT RE - WRITABLE DISK

YA TELL ME CAN I WINDOWS BOOTABLE ISO IMAGE INTO RE WRITABLE DISK??

PLS REPLY OR IS THEIR ANY OTHER SOFTWARE WICH GIVE THESE FACILITY

I M TRYING NERO EXPRESS

Firstly, please don't shout we're not deaf... not all of us anyway

Secondly I used a re-writable DVD for test my installs and that is bootable with no problems so I guess that there will be no issues with using a CD-RW.

EDIT: you can use nero to burn the image of the disc to the CDRW just go File --> Open and select the image you want to burn. Easy.

RW's work fine. Unless...you try multisession mode and keep the session open or have multiple sessions and the disk is closed. Some systems and OS's will read either the first or last session by default.
As long as you are burning the disk as an ISO w/ DAO, there should be no problems. Make sure the disk is clean!
