I don't really want the XP icons, I just want the icon support for 32-bit icons and transparency. Anyone know what to patch in shell32.dll? I'm quite sure that's where the information is located. Maybe if someone has an early Whistler version of the file and the version the Whistler Beta DLL was based off of, someone can reverse engineer both and compare...

You might have missed the line: "I just want the icon support for 32-bit icons and transparency" ;) :P. I want XP icon SUPPORT. If you have ever tried it yourself, using XP icons on Windows 2000 results in ugly solid-black drop shadows...
