Hello... i made unattended winrar... but i want when i install winrar , my themes will be default... i made it ,too... but there is a problem... i don't change archive icons ....

is there a registry code to do it?

I think I understand what you are trying to do... you have made an install of WinRAR including themes, but it wont select your theme during install???

I have recently done the same, so winrar installs with my chosen theme... what you need to do is install winrar, select the theme you want so it is active, the go to the following reg entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WinRAR\Interface\Themes

Copy this key and make reg file to be imported after winrar installed, during unattended setup...

Hope that does the trick.. ive not tested the final part myself, but Im sure thats the right key.. it should contain the theme name in its data values....

To save time trawling through the registry I would open WinRAR and get the themes and setting to how you want it. Then select Options - Import/Export - Export settings to file. This will create Settings.reg in C:\Program Files\WinRAR.

lol!!! Id never even noticed the import/export settings - and it was THERE right in ftont of my eyes... I dont believe it!!!

thx ... but i know it... i can use a theme using registry key... my problem is "apply to archive icons"
