I know the basic method for integrating drivers into an install. Putting the stuff in a folder that is specified in the txtsetup.sif file, then putting a line for the file in the [SourceDisksFiles] section. Is this done the same way with Windows PE? And if so, is there an easier method for doing this? I use nLite to integrate drivers into my regular OS cds but I would like to migrate my unattended installs to windows PE.

Hi Matt,

Where can i get more info on drvinst. We are currently trying certify a new model server and PE does not seem to recognize our NIC. even though it has the same driver name but newer version . How do we incorporate this driver into winpe?

Server IBM x226
onboard NIC broadcom Netextreme Gigabit Ethernet Drive for Windows 2003 and xp
B57xp32.sys version 7.107.0.0

I believe the old version 2.2

Thanks.

It says PnP drivers are not supported and only .Net class drivers are supported...

Ehh?

did you read that in the docs or do you get it as an error message? I'm using drvinst to install nicdrivers so for me it works fine
