Direct X unbloated Rate Topic: -----

Direct X is very bloated with pictures and other uneeded things in it. Is there a guide for taking the bloat out or is there 1 compiled already?

Why do you think it's bloated - there's merely a gui coming w/ it - handy for testing your GFX card etc. ...

I think he means the fact that it installs a lot of images about for example game controlers (PC of course)

Use nLite on Windows to remove unwanted multimedia files. Delete the DirectX images. Other than that, there are dozens of DLL files.

Jeremy and Martijn are both correct it has pictures(uneeded) and many dll's not needed just wanted a streamlined DirectX for windows.

I opened DirectX with resorce hacker to edit No luck :(
