get hauppauge! the mce 500 is the best tv tuner you can get. you just need to get a program for it.

it has an onboard encoder which doesnt take away from the cpu and produces vry good video. it also has dual inputs, meaning u can watch/record 2 shows at once.

it doesnt come with a remoter but you could always just buy one.

TV tuners dont need much bandwidth, so there is no immediate need to move to PCIe.

What I was wondering, u know how the ATI All-in-Wonders are AGP and they are Graphic/TV Tuners... will they move that line to a PCI-e or keep it on a AGP for now?

I have seen a PCI-e TV Card, but it's DVB-T I don't know if it's available in the U.S. markets and/or workable there, just seek for Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT it has Dual Tuners, so you can record one channel while watching another, in Switzerland it's available for just 137 CHF, that means it should be around 100$.

Yep, ATi has two All-In-Wonder video cards for the PCi-express. That would be the AIW X600Pro, which can be found for about $150-$180 and the AIW X800XL, which is about $330-$350.
