When I double click the hard drive in "My Computer" it shows the search feature instead of the contents of hard drive with the folders. I can explore the HD by right clicking drive and selecting "explore" but can't just click hd showing all the folders on hd. If I do click on the drive or any other drive, the search field comes up without the folders.

Can anyone help ? Thanks

I ran into that problem tonight actually...It just requires that you reset the "shell" default value to the word "none" (w/o quotes); what i means is that you journey in the registry editor to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\Shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory

for the default value for both of these keys, change to the word "none".

That way, the default action would be to simply open the folder.
