Hi

Is there a way to do a complete install of a package when using the .msi /qb switch. This switch only seems to do a typical install and I need to be able to do a complete install on several packages that have .msi files. From what I read I have to create an transforms.mst file but I dont know where to start and surely there must be an easier way???

There might be more switches that the application supports...what application is it?

You can download a free 30 dat trail of AdminStudio 7 by install shield. It will allow you to create a transform file for your install. I use it on all my msi's if I want to customize the install.

Below is a link for Customizing Windows Installer Applications. Scroll and find the ADDLOCAL argument.
