If you read the *Lyrics for: / Brown Eyed Girl / into MS Sound Recorder the default SAVE is PCM 22.050 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono and the sound file will be: 2.61 MB (2,740,646 bytes). Depending on your speech.
However, if you click *Save As .. for the file, (and NOT *Save) you will see Format: and a *Change* button at the bottom. Click this before you type a name to save and change the Format to GSM 6.10 8.000 kHz, Mono and the sound file will be: 98.7 KB (101,070 bytes)
*That's a saving of 2,639,576 bytes.* And the sound quality is good enough for voice. And the size makes it now possible to insert in email. A talking email. "Hi grandma, how are you on your birthday .. etc .."
From Outlook Express > Format > Background > Sound (Browse for wav file and check play 1 time only.) (You can also change the Format by clicking > File > Properties in Sound Recorder.)
That's a pretty staggering saving, isn't it. Try it. It's not music, but voice quality.

Quote
Hey where did we go, days when the rains came
Down in the hollow playin' a new game
Laughin' and a-runnin' hey hey, skippin' and a-jumpin'
In the misty nornin' fog with our hearts a-thumpin' on and you
My brown-eyed girl
You my-----brown-eyed girl
Whatever happened to Tuesday's so slow
Goin' down to the old mine with a transistor radio
Standin' in the sunlight laughin', hidin' behind a rainbow's wall
Slippin' and a-slidin' all along the waterfall with you
My brown-eyed girl
You my-----brown-eyed girl
Do you remember when we used to say
Sha la la la....
Sha la la la
La dee da
So hard to find my way, now that I'm on my own
I saw you just the other day
My how you have grown, cast my mem'ry back there Lord
Sometimes I'm overcome, thinkin' about it
Making love in the green grass, behind the stadium with you
My brown-eyed girl
You my-----brown-eyed girl
Do you remember when we used to sing
Sha la la la....
Down in the hollow playin' a new game
Laughin' and a-runnin' hey hey, skippin' and a-jumpin'
In the misty nornin' fog with our hearts a-thumpin' on and you
My brown-eyed girl

PS. Incidentally, the line from the song "Making love in the green grass" caused a HUGE controversy in my day, as did The Stones "Let's spend the Night Together". My generation changed the world.
My grandmother used to think saying "Bloody" was the worst thing you could do. And my mother used to think the same about "Bast*rd" which may still have some effect, hence the * in place of "a".
What's in a name?
You need to be taught things are bad to believe them.
