[MAVERICKS CHOICE]

I know the show desktop item is always present as default in windows, but occasionally in my creations it does not show after a reformat? strange.
Is there any way to ensure it stays or can I tweak it? very handy thing to have there at times.
I searched around twenty pages & went through most of the registry tweaks.

This will add "show destop" and "Internet Explorer" icons to your quicklaunch. I dont know how you would place them in the systray though...

Thats the strange thing I enable quicklaunch & everything usually appears in the systray inc IE, but occasionally the show desktop does not?

yea im really not sure what that would be the case for you. i have done dozens of test of my unattened CD and have used this tweak in all of them and have always had the show destop and ie link show up. are you certain the registry keys you have been importing are correct?

Also when you say system tray and quick launch those are 2 different things. Systray is on the right by the clock and quicklaunch is on the left next to start menu. Are you saying when you enable quicklauch that quicklaunch icons are appearing in the systray? Correct me if i am missunderstanding you

my registry entry for quicklaunch looks alot different than yours. I just suggest you try what i posted and see if that works. If it doesnt let me know
