First I DID do a search and it DID find results, but when I clicked on the links it showed me nothing, I repeadetly did Word find to find Microsoft or antispyware to no avail, it just wouldn't show the topics, despite the search showing they exist...

So either answer or point me in the rightdirection, thank you...

I'm trying to install MS Antispy silently... I keep getting error code 101...

MSI FILE located in C:\Documents and Settings\**username***\Local Settings\Temp

Mine's labeled 35f5761.msi but yours will be similar not the same.

If your unsure, just right click on the msi and it should say in the summary panel:

Title:Microsoft AntiSpyware
Subject:Microsoft AntiSpyware
Author:Microsoft AntiSpyware

Now that you've extracted the msi from the exe, just use msi switches...makes life easier

Try searching your error code as well...searching antispyware + error + 101 pulls a lot of results...this post as the fix most of us use:

http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...yware+error+101

Enjoy!
