hi all techno-knights,:hello:

I installed a software called "Word-Web" an english e-dictionary.
Upon installation i was given an option for keeping the same launched from the task bar.

So an icon can dazzling in the task bar.
I tried to edit the property of the icon and set a short-cut key for the application.
(using right clicking the icon on the task pane and setting in the properties)

I gave " a " in the text box provided for that .
so the field automatically changes to " Ctrl + Alt + A ".
I applied the changes and when i pressed " Ctrl + Alt + A ",
to my surprise the application is not invoked.

so can u plz tell me how should i proceed... :realmad:

thanks and with best regards,
Ootsoo.

I've always had problems with that function... Another limitation is the inability to use the windows key in your own shortcuts.

A solution to that problem is a piece of simple, yet very effective software: HoeKey.

I'd recommend it to anyone!
