Anyone else having sound issues with Audigy cards? any work arounds or fixes discovered?
sound works for a while, then gets choppy and cuts out, some applications cant detect theres a sound device present and dont work...

USB headset that has its own sound drivers built in.. dont work

WMP crashing all the time with movie files, specially with .wmv format!

Quicktime player, on opening this it makes the Desktop go black.. then back on again as if you just shanged your screen settings or something. Quicktime player looks pretty sexy on vista though! even though i hate the thing.

other than these gripes though, this build seems pretty good, fast booting, not found any other issues with it, so far any how.

yay! fixed.

oh you want to know how? oh ok...

go to creatives website.
Download Win2K driver pack.
with Winrar, open this .exe pack and extract its contents to a folder
open the folder and go into the "Drivers" subfolder.
Run "CTZAPXX.exe" and tell it to overwrite any existing creative drivers.
Reboot
should all now work fine, this stopped WMP crashing also :)
