MSCONFIG

How do I set MSCONFIG so that it will allow lower than 3s in chossing the OS in BOOT.INI?

I really don't know why I would have to manually set it to 1s in boot.ini and do this everytime I wish to tweak something thru MSCONFIG.

ps. Any better alternatives to MSCONFIG? Perhaps more advanced and not for average JOE?

Yes I know about that too.

But I would like a way to change it in MSCONFIG?

Or even better a MSCONFIG better replacment with more options

A (very) good msconfig replacement is autoruns from sysinternals (www.sysinternals.com).
